A few words about
What We Do
Our Background
SWAM, a Somali women-led non-profit established on August 3rd, 2018, is dedicated to creating a secure space for women and girls. Through various projects, it equips them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in their new communities
The center serves as a second home for women, where they come together to celebrate, interact, educate themselves, and seek solace in sharing their experiences. Through these efforts, we strive to cultivate resilience, strength, and a sense of community among the women we serve.
Our projects
We lead projects empowering somali women in a supportive community.
